NY Times Readers Select "To Kill a Mockingbird" as Best Book of the Past 125 Years
.
Rebuttal by
Dating back to the early 1970s and counting, "To Kill a Mockingbird" (published 1960) has not only been a staple of the High School required reading list, but its film and theater versions have been media-hyped to the stars as well. It's one of those stories that the obedient "educated" class is trained to go gaga over. Not surprisingly, a poll of those who worship "the paper of record" ranks Ms. Harper Lee's mediocre piece of pseudo-literature as "The Best Book of the Past 125 Years." No surprise there, for such a foregone conclusion was clearly the "correct" and predictable answer.
.
Published and heavily edited by a "do-gooder" Quaker firm of Lippincott, the propaganda plot of Mockingbird centers around a southern Black man falsely accused of raping a White woman, and a noble White lawyer who oh-so valiantly, but unsuccessfully, argues his client's innocence amidst evil Alabama's toxic environment of "racism" ™. Break out the violins and tissues, boys and girls. "Youse guys" know the procedure. Variations of this predictable hackneyed scenario have been run and re-run a million times, so that's really all you need to know.
1. The "Fabian Window" in London depicts the Master Globalists shaping the world as they see fit by feeding certain books to the "intelligent people" below them, who are kneeling and praying before a stack of the books they are supposed to read. // 2. Few High Schoolers escaped having to read "To Kill a Mockingbird." // 3. Communist Gregory Peck stars in the film version as the noble Attorney Atticus Finch.
The most troubling element of the To Kill a Mockingbird phenomenon is how such an over-rated book soon became required reading in most American High Schools. The film version is still being re-run on cable TV. Ms. Lee, that silly self-hating Dixie bull dyke, amassed a fortune peddling her stereotypical anti-southerner commie-crap. Many of her captive White readers, or movie / TV viewers have, as a result, grew up with a pathetic and suicidal White Guilt complex. And we can only guess how many Black readers or viewers grew up with a reinforced hatred of "the White Man?"
.To the extent that books, plays and films such as Mockingbird created a climate of general hatred against Whites, particularly Southerners, can it not be said that Lee, much like Al Charlatan and much like Bathhouse Barry and Big Mike Obongo, are directly responsible for violence toward and the death of innocent White people? Incitement, no matter how subtle, equals death, and Mockingbird always was, and still is, an incendiary piece of literature and cinema.
.
The tragic irony of "Mockingbird" is that even the fake historians cannot point to a single case in which a 1930s southern Black man, who in spite of clear evidence of innocence, was ever deliberately and wrongly convicted of rape by a White jury. For if they could cite such a clear case, we would surely have all heard about it (1,000 times!) by now. Instead, a fictional book / film, and the deep emotions which they evoke, are accepted by the subconscious public mind as "a true story." .Unfortunately, “Mockingbird” still sells more than one million copies per year worldwide, generating some $3 million in royalties for the copyright holder. Ms. Lee is dead now, but her hometown of Monroeville, Alabama promotes a museum and trail dedicated to Lee and her book. Hundreds of thousands of brain-dead tourists pay obedient homage each year.
.
Cheese and crackers! They done turned this low-talent hack into another Anne Frank ™! Her book ought to be burned.
1 & 2. Old Monroe County Courthouse in Alabama has been turned into a museum. Libtards gather to watch reenactments of the theater version. / 3. An "American icon," Harper Lee was decorated by George Bush.
Boobus Americanus 1: I read in the New York Times today that Harper Lee's 'To Kill a Mockingbird' was voted the best book of the past 125 years.
*Boobus Americanus 2: It is truly an iconic work, an American cultural classic that reminds us of the injustice which this country has inflicted upon and continues to inflict upon people of color.*Sugar: Rape! Rape!
-Editor: That's not funny.
