New York Times: Michael A. Ledeen, Reagan Adviser Involved in Iran-Contra, Dies at 83
A neoconservative who fervidly opposed Communism and the fundamentalist regime in Iran, he wrote many books and articles, some of whose theories were later discredited.

This bit of belated good news (from late May, actually) makes one wonder if Neocon / Mossad "academic" legend Michael Ledeen (cough cough) really died of stroke complication at 83, or was "dealt with" for his lifelong service to the Shitty Little State. The Q York Times article does an accurate job at describing Leeden's role in the infamous "Iran Contra" scandal which so weakened the Reagan presidency in Term 2: . In 1985, Leeden held a clandestine meeting at the home of an Israeli arms dealer with Manucher Ghorbanifar, an Iranian businessman. Their meeting set in motion what became known as the Iran-contra scandal — the revelations that the administration, defying Congress, illegally sold arms to Iran and used some of the proceeds to support right-wing rebels in Nicaragua known as the contras." . It's not that the the Ledeen Clique and their Israeli handlers were great lovers of Iran, of course. You see, Iran was at war with Saddam Hussein's Iraq -- and the Neocons wanted each side to keep fighting and weakening each other for as long as possible. That war lasted 8 years. .
- Undaunted from the embarrassing disclosure of his role in Iran-Contra, Lying Ledeen, in 2002-03, was instrumental in promoting Israel's "Yellowcake Uranium Hoax" which the late Colon Rectum Bowel sold at the United Nations as the pretext for going to war against Iraq in 2003. As Iraq was being weakened by that stalemated war and the subsequent Gulf Wars of 1990 and 2003, the Neocon scum dropped Iran like a hot potato and began openly calling for "regime change" in Tehran as well. Ledeen, artificially hyped up as an academic guru, wrote almost three dozen books -- many of them well publicized. He was dishonestly adamant about Iran’s role in funding "Global Terrorism." His sophist propaganda books on Iran included: . * Debacle: The American Failure in Iran * The War Against the Terror Masters * The Iranian Time Bomb: The Mullah Zealots’ Quest for Destruction * The Field of Fight: How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its Allies (co-authored with General Mike Flynn) .
- . Knowing Leeden as well as we do, there's no need to even read the garbage books of this warmongering weasel. Based upon a cursory view of some of his articles, surely the content of his books is oh-so-predictably cliched: "America has not done enough to assert its dominance in the world, blah blah blah" -- "Islamic Terrorism -- mainly funded by Iran -- has proliferated as a result blah blah blah." -- "9-11, Osama Bin laden," blah blah blah." -- "Regime change, blah blah blah." --- He's that guy.

- Ledeen's prolifically profitable scribblings were straight away Project for the New American Century style subversion -- though he was not actually a signatory of PNAC's infamous 1998 "New Pearl Harbor" "prediction" foreshadowing 9-11. Ledeen was as Israel First (Mossad) as one can possibly be -- and his pseudoscholarly influence was immense.
The Reagan presidency was badly damaged over a scheme which Neocon Leeden and his co-plotters concocted and executed for the benefit of Israel's desire to have Iraq and Iran weaken each other in a protracted war.
Jewish Neocons had a particular love for Ledeen, and he for them. One such character, an "Oxford educated economist" and typical Iran "regime changer" named Diana Furchtgott-Roth, writing for the Neocon Daily Signal, gushed as follows:
