Libtards embrace each other at 2023 demonstration against the U.S. Supreme Court decision to strike down race-quota-based student admissions programs.
NY Times: At M.I.T., Black and Latino Enrollment Drops Sharply After Affirmative Action Ban * NY Times (8-21): At 2 Elite Colleges, Shifts in Racial Makeup After Affirmative Action Ban
Amherst College and Tufts University saw drops in the number of Black students after a Supreme Court decision ending affirmative action.
Rebuttal By
A year ago, Commander Trump's U.S. Supreme Quort (the real SC court is not actually in session) ended the anti-White practice of "affirmative action" in higher education. Among both hopeful libtards and hopeless anti-Trump Black Pill addicts of the "far right," there arose immediate claims that the decision would easily be bypassed through loopholes. But now, the results are already coming in.
.
Excerpts from the most recent article:
.
"At Amherst College, a small liberal arts college in Massachusetts, the share of Black students decreased sharply — by eight percentage points — for this year’s entering class, according to data released on Thursday. It decreased more moderately at Tufts University, a larger private college near Boston, according to that school’s data. At the University of Virginia, which released its data on Friday, the percentage of Black students also dipped."."The new evidence comes after the Massachusetts Institute of Technology announced a sharp drop in Black enrollment, by 10 percentage points, last week."."Amherst’s data showed that the percentage of white students enrolling rose sharply, while the percentage of Asian American students rose slightly."
.
Though a handful of dejected quackademic libtards are quoted in the articles, the overall tone and presentation of both the White Hat Slimes pieces are, once again, neutral and objective.
Trump / Q won one for the White boys! As the top tier universities go, all the rest will follow.
To have achieved a result like this in just the first year of the ban bodes well not only for deserving students who, in the past, were wrongly denied admission to their colleges of choice -- but it also sends a dual message to prospective employers:
.
1. Do not worry about being sued if you have too many White guys working for you.
2. Do worry about be sued if you are hiring and promoting based on "diversity" (code language for "too many white boys" here) instead of merit.
.
Inferring that corporations will be next, legal experts are already advising employers to be careful with the "diversity" and "ESG" stuff. From the website of the Sidley Austin law firm (August 2, 2023):
.
Implications of the Supreme Court Decision for Employers
"While the longer-term consequences of the Court’s decision remain to be seen, we expect more challenges to practices that involve the consideration of any protected trait as a factor in the decision to grant or deny benefits, including in the employment context and whether involving governmental or private actors. Ultimately, employers will need to evaluate their existing DEI initiatives and related practices, affirmative action plans and programs, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts to identify the risks associated with those practices following this ruling. . Importantly, programs aimed at increasing the diversity of applicant pools still seem to be outside the confines of this decision..Practical Steps for Employers Regarding DEI Programs.Following the Court’s decision, there are several practical steps employers can take in the near term to continue to advance diversity in the workplace while reducing the risk that they will be subject to litigation under the current legal landscape." . Employers seeking to maintain diversity commitments and initiatives should have legal counsel evaluate their existing programs in light of the Court’s ruling and should implement programs to monitor developments in case law. ** In other words -- although the decision doesn't directly impose anything on employers, it's a good idea "under the current legal landscape" to start hiring and promoting more White guys again. As someone who was once blatantly discriminated against in college admission and twice again during my "real world" employment of years past (once in hiring and once for promotion) , I never thought I'd live to see such a development in Marxified-Kalergified America. . ThankQ!
