Gov. Gavin Newsom of California signed legislation banning legacy preferences at private colleges in the state.
NY Times: California Bans Legacy Preferences at Private Universities *
The change will affect Stanford University, the University of Southern California and other private colleges in the state.

Here's yet another one of those events which we may place in the folder labeled: "Things That Shouldn't be Happening if the Cabal Were Still in Control." Since when do bloodline "elites" tilt the table away from themselves and back to an even playing surface which values merit over "connections?" From the article:
.
"California will ban private colleges and universities, including some of the nation’s most selective institutions, from giving special consideration to applicants who have family or other connections to the schools, a practice known as legacy preferences.".Gov. Gavin Newsom signed legislation on Monday that will prohibit the practice starting in the fall of 2025.
.
White Hat "Gavin Newsom" declared that admission policies should be based on merit and hard work, and that “the California Dream shouldn’t be accessible to just a lucky few which is why we’re opening the door to higher education wide enough for everyone, fairly.” Three cheers for "Newsom" who -- being one of the infamous Demonrat Governors who forced flu patients into nursing homes with the intent of maximizing both contagion and ventilator murders -- was either placed under submisison or "swapped out" a long time ago.
.
No doubt about this one, boys and girls. This has got the fingerprints of Q operatives all over it. The ruling "elite" NEVER yield up undeserved privileges unless they are FORCED to.
A substantial percentage of spots at elite "private" universities are reserved based upon elite connections and donations -- not merit.
Top California "private" schools such as Stanford and USC -- where 14 percent of students who were admitted in the fall of 2022 had such "legacy" or donor connections -- will be impacted by this law. Now, you might ask: "But, but Mike. If these colleges are private, shouldn't they be able to accept or reject whoever they want?" -- Solid question. Answer (from Forbes Magazine) :
.
"About 30% of American college students attend so-called private colleges and universities, most of which are non-profit institutions. In reality, however, with very few exceptions, all of them are heavily dependent directly or indirectly on governments for support. Federal student loans allow them to raise fees much higher than they otherwise would be able to charge, as do tuition tax credits and Pell Grants. The tax-deductible treatment of private donations helps fund new buildings. Universities rarely appropriately provide for the depreciation or construction of facilities in their accounting of revenues and expenses, implicitly assuming they are gifts from God. State and local government exemption of facilities from property and sometimes sales taxes provide further assistance. The federal government hands out research grants, with generous (probably overly generous) provision for overhead expenses. Endowments are also advantaged enormously by tax privileges, even for the few dozen schools that will now have to pay an endowment tax.
.
You see, when you leech off of the taxpayer, you ain't "private" anymore! Therein lies the legal justification for this new law banning "elite" set-asides.
.
Given the importance and size of California, we expect this sort of reform to spread to other "elite" schools nationwide. It is important to note that this law follows (by design!) the Supreme Qourt's stunning 2023 ruling which banned race quota considerations in the college admissions process. By weeding out undeserving applicants from the "people of color" below as well as those from "connected" Anglo & Jewish above -- the spots will be taken mainly by deserving White students in the middle, and some Asians as well. This is NOT the sort of stuff that the "elite" -- who have made the manipulation of "people of color" against the big bad White Man into a science -- want.
.
Do such unprecedented rulings and news laws herald the early signs of the truly egalitarian, merit-based society that is to come after "the storm" has passed? We believe so.
.
Trust the plan.
1 & 2. Elite and "private" Stanford was reserving a whopping 14% of its admisisons for children of the well-connected or super wealthy. // 3. Excellent Forbes article from 2018 exposed the myth of "private" universities.

The White Hats played this beautifully. After the Supreme Quort banned race quotas in college admisisons, controlled Left aQtivists began targetting legacy admissions as a "tit-for-tat."
Boobus Americanus 1: I read in the New York Times today that California just banned legacy preferences at elite private universities.
Boobus Americanus 2: That's good. Everyone should have an equal chance.
St. Sugar: Tell it, Boobuss. Tell it!
Editor: Between the Affirmative Action ban and this, some colleges should see as much as a 25% increase in merit-based admission!
