NY Times: America Is Anxious About Its 250th Birthday. So Are Historians.

NY Times: U.S.A. at 250
Analysis by
As we approach the 250th anniversary of the July 4th, 1776 Declaration of Independence, anyone who was at least nine years old during the 1976 Bicentennial, will surely by now have noticed the conspicuous absence of the sort of excitement and hype surrounding USA 200. To say that the United States was a different country back then would be a gross understatement. In reality, that country no longer exists and -- in spite of whatever positive fundamental changes and new directions may occur in the post Q United States -- it ain't ever coming back either.
.
As the big national party approached in 1976, the country -- coming off of the dual crises of the Cabal-engineered Vietnam War and the Cabal-engineered "Watergate Scandal" which forced the removal of President Richard Nixon -- consisted of a dominant majority of patriotic and predominantly White Christians with the founding stock Anglo-Saxons & Scots-Irish still the dominant subgroup. Among the citizenry, political divisions were based more on perceived preferences than they were on fundamental ideological differences. Though Demonrat politicians were majority Marxist shit by that time, Democrat voters -- even some of those with a more liberal bent -- flew their flags just as proudly as Republicans did. By and large, we still understood each other and saw ourselves as a nation with more to unite us than divide us. The same for many assimilated "minorities" too.
.
What a great summer that was in our kid-infested suburban enclave of Paterson, New Jersey. Pool parties, baseball games, barbecues and lots of fireworks (now illegal in NJ) that any adult could purchase back then at a local convenience store. Every house on the block hung a flag and all of the fire hydrants were painted up as red, white & blue colonial characters. The one-year patriotic buildup (promoted heavily in the elementary schools) climaxed in a 4th of July that actually meant something --- notwithstanding the sad fact that later that same year, voters were compelled to choose between Globalist Scum Gerald Ford and Globalist Scum Jimmy Carter for president.
.
This sort of love of country was not in the long-term interests of the NWO Cabal. Oh sure, the PRC (Predatory Ruling Class) would occasionally whip up Goy Normiedom into patriotic spams of "USA! USA! USA!" frenzy whenever they needed to march young men into wartime meat grinders from time to time -- but in the long run, any sense of nationalism and racial identity, or even just cultural cohesiveness, HAD TO BE subverted and destroyed. Though this sort of seditious subversion was not so "in your face" in those days, the foundation of our disintegration (more easily visible in retrospect) had indeed been established.
The Colonial Era "Tall Ships" came to New York City.
Remember the bicentennial fire hydrant craze of 1976? Every city and town across America had a shared experience that meant something more than just an excuse to have a summer party. That country is now "Gone With the Wind" -- in most respects.
One would have needed to look no further than in the putrid pages of "the paper of record" to witness a few pints of progressive piss being poured into the patriotic punch bowl of USA 200. In a scathingly sarcastic editorial titled, "Overdosing on the Bicentennial," a notorious Leftist "critic" of all things normal made mockery of the whole week, including the "Tall Ships" flotilla which sailed down the Hudson River. From John Leonard's editorial, dated July 11, 1976:."Five million people—lining the banks of the Hudson River to see 16 windjammers and a Loch Ness monster—capsize Manhattan Island, hurling Bloomingdale's into the middle of New Jersey's uncommitted delegation. Inside Paul Lynde, Donny and Marie Osmond are trying to get out. Inside Donny and Marie Osmond, nothing is trying to get out.
Well, were you uplifted? I mean, after “The Glorious Fourth,” “In Celebration of US,” “The Great American Birthday Party,” “The Great American Celebration,” “The Great American History Test,” “Happy Birthday, America,” “The Inventing of America,” “The Stars and Stripes Show,” “The Glory Road West,” “Bob Hope's Bicentennial Star‐Spangled Spectacular,” “Best of the Fourth,” “Billy Graham's Bicentennial Festival of Faith” and Lawrence Welk. . Disney overproduced the fireworks. It was a week of some of the worst singing and dancing ever seen on television; an almost unparalleled confusion of purposes; a long march of vulgarians." . . This seditious spirit-killing Communist P.O.S. had NOT ONE good thing to say about the unifying national party of 1976 which, by the way, did feature an educational element emphasizing Jeffersonian / Declaration of Independence ideals about liberty. Back in 1976, even most Democrats and libs would have dismissed a commie crank like Leonard as a marginalized outlier and party pooper. But as we approach 250 just 6 weeks from now, the comparatively subdued nature of the coming day -- set amidst the context of a seriously screwed up culture and a overly divided and diversified people -- makes it obvious that the John Leonards of this world won the long game by "marching through the institutions." . Q or no Q -- this country, and the West in general -- is going to require a TON of "rehab" if it is ever to recapture that lost "Spirit of 76."

Well known "cultural critic" (subversive) John Leonard (1939-2008). Whether some of the 1976 events were "over the top" or not, only a Marxist asshole would have rained on the country's national parade with a lengthy editorial full of sarcastic criticism. Fifty years later, many "Americans" seem to have the same "Who cares?" attitude about USA 250. Can the "Spirit of 1776" ever be rekindled?
During the buildup to USA 200, a competing Declaration of INTERdependence was drafted by disrespectful Globalist "Historian" Henry Steele Commager, and then presented to the Globalist World Affairs Councils of Philadelphia. It starts off: "When in the course of history the threat of extinction confronts mankind, it is necessary for the people of the United States to declare their interdependence with the people of all nations."

Boobus Americanus 1: The 250th 4th of July is coming up..Boobus Americanus 2: I was very little when the 200th was celebrated. But there seemed to be a lot more enthusiasm for it back then. I wonder why..St Sugar: Frankfurt Sschool, Boobuss. You've been subverted!
.Editor: Absolutely. It is also possible -- as one of our readers has suggested -- the scriptwriters at White Hat Productions seem to be steering the country into a bad mood. They may also be muting USA 250 for purposes of "The Movie."
