*** Texas Ends Marxist Fake History ***
The Texas State Board of Education approved new social studies standards, which will rewrite how millions of elementary and middle school students learn about history.
NY Times: Texas Has a New Way to Teach History: In Chronological Order
Most states teach history by subject. Texas will go chronologically, starting with ancient history and reaching World War II by seventh grade.

Analysis By

As readers of my numerous books and articles know, the dated chronological sequence format is a staple of all of my articles and books, large and small. Each event builds upon the previous one to form a cohesive, understandable and interesting narrative. In that respect, good history writing is no different than movie scripting or writing a novel. Notwithstanding theatrical flashback techniques here and there, the writer HAS TO go in order or else no one will understand the story! Therefore, the fact that Texas, in returning to sanity by mandating that history be taught in chronological order, constitutes "breaking news" is truly astonishing. Consider the headline: Texas Has a New Way to Teach History: In Chronological Order. That's like saying: Texas Has a New Way to Teach Math: Start with Learning to Count 1-10. Or: Texas Has a New Way to Teach Writing: Start with Learning the Alphabet. Seriously now; is there any other way?.The strange yet welcome news, from the article."In most states, students in elementary and middle school learn about history in much the same way (disjointed). ---- Texas is throwing out the old model — in favor of teaching in chronological order. Students will start with ancient history in third grade, and progress in time each year, reaching the 20th century and World War II by seventh grade. Texas, U.S. and world history will be taught through the lens of each time period, rather than taught as separate subjects..The changes, approved by the Texas State Board of Education late Friday, will significantly shift how history is taught for millions of students in the nation’s second-largest state, and set Texas apart from the rest of the country..“Teaching students fragments of history — names and dates and places — has failed,” said Mandy Drogin, a senior fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, a conservative think tank in Austin that pushed for the changes..A chronological approach, she said, will give students a better understanding of the “arc of history” and “the why” behind historical events." . .Tell it, Mandy. Tell it!
In Texas, the subject of History will now be taught step by step, in "building block" chronological order -- just like math and language.
It gets better though. In addition to adopting the chronological format long utilized by your favorite historian here, the new standards will reemphasize western civilization while getting rid of the Marxist / Frankfurt Model model of "critiquing" America and Western Civilization solely for the purpose of undermining a proper respect for our roots and collective past. Of course, the long-ago-corrupted American Historical Association (brought up by the Globalist tax exempt foundation and various other liberal "philanthropists") is now sounding the alarm over the long overdue change in history curriculum. In a piece from the AHA website -- titled AHA Submits Comments Raising Serious Concerns About Proposed Texas Social Studies Standards -- the quackademic eggheads list their specific reasons for objecting:.1. Western Civilization is prioritized over the history of Africa, "indigenous" America, and Asia. 2. The new program lacks "global interconnections" and "global context."3. The American founding is used to "advance contemporary ideological commitments." (patriotism)4. Women's History (feminist crap) is "marginalized."5. Black Historical (anti-whiteness) is "diminished." 6. Labor studies (communist agitation) de-emphasized in favor of "broad affirmations of free enterprise."7. Too much emphasis on America's Christian heritage --- not enough "pluralism."8. The "bizarre decision" to attribute the fall of the Roman Empire to moral decay.9. The history of "racism" is absent..Cry harder, egghead bitches! Ironically, AHA's condemnation actually constitutes a ringing endorsement of the new program. Students in Texas will no longer be taught to hate their race, their country and White western civilization in general. Imagine that! Though we don't exactly expect the Mike Kingification of the overall curricula just yet, this is a great start. Let's hope this sort of restored sanity spreads nationwide.
1. The Orwellian mind-molders at the AHA are very butt-hurt over the direction which the nation's 2nd most populous state is taking. That's because they know that an understanding of Real History makes it much harder to brainwash people in the current day. // 2. Orwell: “Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.”
1. The Frankfurt School Marxists left Germany after Hitler came to power. Many washed up at Colombia's Teacher's College in New York and started "critiquing" America and its past. // 2. From 1952-1954, Congressman Carroll Reece led the United States House Select Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations. The Committee found that Globalist Foundations were funding the manipulation of History. // 3. Norman Dodd produced a report for the Reece Committee explaining how big philanthropies such as the Carnegie and Rockefeller Foundations conspired with the American Historical Association to promote un-American Globalism in U.S. education. The effort to expose and correct this subversion was finally thwarted, from behind the scenes, by Globalist President Eisenhower and his UNESCO-loving brother, Milton Eisenhower.
