India’s government wants to shut down Delhi’s Gymkhana Club, which the prime minister calls a vestige of colonialism. Some members suspect a different motive.

The "Editorial Board" of "The Anti-New York Times" has long been critical of Great Britain (the ruling class, not the people) for being what The Great One (that's Hitler for youse newbies & normies) once referred to as "the Eternal Warmonger" (ewiger Kriegstreiber). He claimed that Colonial Britain's strategy over the previous centuries had always been to confront and defeat whichever emerging European Continental power was strongest, resorting to lies or deceits necessary to help achieve it. People all over the globe would surely add to that observation: "Us too!" And when the destined-to-be dispossessed British Aristocracy carelessly got into bed with the Jewish Cabal bankers and dope dealers during the 1800s, the great game of global dominance only accelerated. .Broke and demoralized after World War 2, Britannia, exactly as The Great One had predicted, would go on to lose its empire piece by piece -- with India gaining its independence in 1947, and London itself now minority White. With this bit of historical context established, here's the nutshell line from today's featured article:."Founded more than 100 years ago as a whites-only social club for British colonial administrators and their wives, the Gymkhana is now a refuge for Delhi’s homegrown elite. But with its imperial past, the Gymkhana is facing extinction under Mr. Modi’s campaign to purge India of what he calls a residual “slave mentality.”.Now, here's where we, in the interests of fairness, ought to talk about some of the progress and stability which the British did bring to parts of the Turd World -- albeit not purely out of a sense of altruism. In fact, one could argue that Indians and Pakistanis, in spite of the glories of ancient times, ought to be grateful for many of the benefits of British rule from 1757 to 1947.
At its peak -- however they got it -- the British Empire was immense but not without certain benefits for the colonized. Of course, the "usual suspects" eventually usurped Britannia too.
The Benefits of British Colonialism.* The Eradication of the Thuggees.
The word "thug" derives from "thuggee." Thuggees were cultish networks of professional assassins and violent thieves in the Indian subcontinent. They preyed on travelers from the 17th to the 19th centuries -- typically traveling in disguise and gaining the trust of victims before murdering them and robbing their baggage. According to some estimates, the number of murder victims over a 200 year period is estimated to be as many as two million! British colonial records from the 1830s claimed upward of 30,000 victims per year were murdered by the Thuggees during their peak. The cult -- whose victims were mainly Indian merchants, travelers and pilgrims -- was finally destroyed in the 1830s and 1840s following a massive intelligence and hanging campaign led by Captain William Sleeman..* The Banning of Sati (suttee)
.Sati was a historical Hindu practice in which a widow was required to immolate herself on her deceased husband's funeral pyre. The self-burning was viewed as the ultimate act of wifely devotion, though many were coerced and had no alternative societal option. Over the course of many centuries, the number of female victims must surely have numbered into the millions. Once again, it was the British who put an end to this monstrous custom by erecting gallows near the funeral pyre locations as an ominous message to the fanatical burners of grieving widows..* Order, Stability & Progress
.The British constructed extensive infrastructure in India, notably the vast railway network, ports, telegraph lines, and irrigation canals. Libtarded anti-White quackademics will argue that this development was designed solely for the benefit of British interests, rather than to help the "exploited" Indian populace. Though such claims are generally valid -- the fact still remains, British development did indeed greatly benefit the masses of India by facilitating modern commerce and enabling easier transportation...Like the ancient and advanced Roman Empire, the Britannic "Eternal Warmonger" also has some "control issues," it is true. Ask the rebellious Irish, they'll tell you. But it is important to be historically balanced and not just indiscriminately dump on the old British Empire. The British didn't have to ban Sati and kill the Thugees because neither of those horrors affected them directly -- but they did. The British also eradicated slavery and cannibalism -- both practices re-emerging upon their departure. So, for all of its heavy handedness at times, Britannia's important civilizational contributions to and general improvement of much of the brutal "developing world" ought to also be recognized. What's right is right.
