The longest-serving Republican speaker of the House admitted in 2016 to abusing teenage boys decades earlier. He was 84.

Incoming!.Whether or not this greasy character was "on ice," or has been afforded a "Rommel Death," or truly did just die this past Sunday evening, the news of his departure offers us an opportunity to remind folks of the fact that a boy rapist held the powerful position of Speaker of the House of Representatives for 8 years (1999-2007). It is surprising (not surprising, actually) to see that the Q York Times (long dismissive of child sex predators) holds nothing back in describing what a piece of filth Dennis Hastert (R-IL) truly was. None of that watered down "sex offender" lingo in the all-important headline. The headline actually uses the explosive term "Child Sex Abuse!"

He was released in July 2017 and from then on lived out of the public eye despite his earlier prominence in Washington..Mr. Hastert admitted at his sentencing that he sexually abused teenage wrestlers as young as 14 whom he coached at Yorkville High School in Yorkville, Ill., where he worked from 1965 to 1981. The federal judge who sentenced Mr. Hastert called him “a serial child molester.”.

After 20 years on a Congressman's salary, his increased net worth was reported to be as high as $10 million. Hastert's resignation -- said to be motivated by the GOP loss of Congress -- seems to have been connected to him being widely criticized for having protected Representative Mark Foley (R-FL), the homosexual predator of teenage House pages who was outed in 2007.

Hastert's big opening came when Louisiana Congressman Bob Livingston -- the man who had already been chosen to become the next Speaker -- was suddenly exposed for having had adulterous affairs and had to decline the position. How "convenient" the timely fall of Livingston was for the sodomite Hastert -- and how especially "convenient" it was for the Shitty Little State.
