Federal and local law enforcement officials announced on Thursday dozens of arrests into what they described as illegal gambling schemes.
Chauncey Billups, head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers, was among the former and current N.B.A. basketball players arrested on Thursday in connection with two illegal gambling investigations.

- Depending on how this front page story unfolds and whether or not it expands, the Q Operation's unexpected attack on the NBA brings with it some intriguing and promising possibilities. Having made professional sports a religion of sorts for the bewildered boobs of Normiedom, what better way to focus public attention on the idea of systemic high-level corruption than to start, not with the politicians, but with their sports heroes? The fixing of games (a common practice in basketball and football), if shown to be widespread and also involving other sports, would be a HUGE ice-breaker moment that would flow nicely into the exposure of political corruption. The disclosure of game rigging being used as a psychological primer to election rigging? Maybe.

- Some bomblets, from the articles:

- "Two indictments unsealed in federal court on Thursday jolted professional basketball, involving cases that spanned the N.B.A., online betting companies and the shadowy underworld of organized crime. One indictment accused a current N.B.A. player and another former player and assistant coach of using inside information about players to defraud betting companies."
- .
- Current and former N.B.A. players:
- .
- Chauncey Billups: Portland Trail Blazers head coach. Accused of luring wealthy people to participate in rigged poker games in return for a portion of the illegal profits, according to prosecutors.
- .
- Damon Jones: Former N.B.A. player and assistant coach. Accused of supplying inside information to allow a network of conspirators to place winning bets on games.
- .
- Terry Rozier: N.B.A. player who, as a member of the Charlotte Hornets, is accused of telling his co-conspirators that he was planning to leave a game in March 2023 early because of an injury, information that was unknown to team officials, the indictment said. Co-conspirators are accused of placing $200,000 on his “under” totals, and then splitting the proceeds with Mr. Rozier.

- Of course, it will require the arrests of more and bigger sports names than the aforementioned trio in order to make this a really, really big deal. But there is a hint that a certain BIG name -- so big that the name actually transcends sports -- may, in due time, be dragged into this.
All arrested: Chauncey Billups // Damon Jones: // Terry Rozier. More to follow?
Here's where the plot gets interesting. One of those arrested, Damon Jones, was once a teammate (in Miami) of the legendary superstar (and apparent Satanist) Lebron James. James later brought Jones to Cleveland in 2014 as his personal shooting coach (as if the prolific scorer really needed one?). Jones was then promoted to assistant coach and again followed "King James" when he relocated to the Los Angeles Lakers. No doubt about it. Jones and James have been basketball buddies for a long time.
.
The indictment said that Jones was a teammate and coach “of a prominent NBA player,” who it called "Player 3" --- meaning, Lebron James, of course. It is alleged that Jones used his relationship with "Player 3" to gain information that he then sold to the gamblers. Specifically, Jones learned on the morning of Feb. 9, 2023, that Player 3 would not play in the Lakers’ game against the Bucks that night. He then informed an unnamed co-conspirator to place a “big bet” on the Bucks because he would not be playing. Player 3 -- THOUGH NOT NAMED ON THE MANDATORY PRE-GAME INJURY REPORT -- missed the game after suddenly claiming to be hurt. Because it is known that Lebron James did not play that night, we may deduce with 100% probability that he is in fact "Player #3." The question is, was "King James" really hurt that night? Or was he in cahoots with Jones? Hmmmm.
.
Believe you me, boys and girls. If King James ends up getting perp-walked, the shock waves will be immense -- a nice pre-Hillary or pre-Obama primer? No predictions! Let's just see what happens.
SATANISTS ALL!
1. King James was a big Obongo backer. // 2. He also publicly endorsed Killary in 2016. // 3. The one eye thing, eh Lebron?
Boobus Americanus 1: I read in the New York Times today that some NBA coaches and players were arrested for rigging poker and basketball games.
.
Boobus Americanus 2: Wow! That sort of stuff hasn't happened since Arnold Rothstein rigged the 1919 World Series. -St. Sugar: Boobuss, you dumb ass. American sports have been as rigged as American elections all along!
.
Editor: A shock such as Lebron going down might actually jar Boobus into actually believing in the concept of evil in high places.
