For more than 7 years now, "The Editorial Board" here at The Anti-New York Times has been advising readers to ignore any and all "pro-Israel" posturing by Commander Trump and any and all of his subordinate associates. For the Trumpteenth time, in a culture generationally mind-raped to reflexively regard the Shitty Little State as "our greatest ally," ™ and "the only democracy in the Middle East" ™ -- is there any other viable rhetorical alternative? .The corollary of Normiedom's misplaced sympathy for "the State of Israel" is, of course, the big bad Arab / Muslim boogeyman who knocked down the Twin Towers on 9-11 (rolling eyes) and seeks to impose "Sharia Law"™ upon us "infidels." Add to that the literal worship of all things Zionist by the Scofield Bible "Christian Zionist" crazies who constitute a massive block of the Republican voter base, and you'll begin to appreciate the challenging and delicate nature of making "peace in the Middle East" ™ without appearing to be anti-Israel or even, (heaven forbid!)
