A series of World War II dramas about China’s fight against Japan is drawing audiences to their feet, and, in some cases, to tears.

- Embedded political / geopolitical mythologies -- no matter how moronic and mendacious -- can take a long time to kill, if ever at all! Following the silly spectacle of Moscow's 80th Anniversary "Victory in Europe" Day Parade this past April, Beijing hosted a similarly Orwellian Victory over Japan propaganda pageant in August, with a military parade overseen by Xi Jinping and attended by President Putin of Russia and Kim Jong-un of North Korea. Leading up to the main event were Chinese summer movies portraying China as the innocent victim of the big bad Japs.

December 13th marked the 88th Anniversary of the fictitious "Rape of Nanking" by Japanese forces in 1937 -- a tale spun by the Chinese and American spin-masters of the day, and further embellished ever since. The Jews have their "6,000,000" at Bullschwitz and other camps --- and the Chinese have their "300,000" at Nanking. This year, I noticed my Twitter feed really blowing up with ignorant propaganda posts from Chinese accounts, or perhaps bots.

With all due respect to the honorable Chairman Xi and the industrious people of the new Fascist China who have built such a dynamic nation, there are many essential facts missing from the commonly accepted Chinese version of World War 2. The TRUTH is spelled out clearly, concisely and with "receipts" in my book from last summer, "Japan's War of Self-Defense" -- with the most foundational points of Mike King's patented "nutshell" technique debunk summarized here...The 1930s - 40s.* Japan's presence in Manchuria (established by Teddy Roosevelt in 1904-5) was serving as a bulwark against aggressive Communist expansion into Asia.* Chinese Nationalist leader Chiang Kai Shek was engaged in a Civil War against the Communists led by Stalin's agent, Mao Tse Tung* Chiang wants good relations with anti-Communist Japan and many in the Chinese government are pro-Japan* 1936: Mutinous ultra-nationalist Generals -- in collaboration with Communist leaders -- lure Chiang Kai Shek to a meeting and kidnap him!* Japan openly expresses its concern that a plot to reverse Chiang's Japan-friendly policy is afoot.* Chiang is released from captivity after having agreed to stop fighting Chinese Communists and go to war with Japan (over control of Manchuria) instead. Chiang accepted this deal (made under duress) with the condition that Red fighters be placed under his command.* July, 1937: The Chinese engineered a pretext for war with the "Marco Polo Bridge Incident."* The United States (President Roosevelt) assisted China in what FDR viewed as a proxy war against the peaceful Japanese Empire.
* Late 1937, the Chinese Army launched a "scorched earth" policy of burning houses around Nanking to deprive oncoming Japanese soldiers of shelter. The Communist Chinese element of the Chinese military was particularly brutal in dealing with pro-Japan Chinese -- of which, there were many..* December, 1937: The legendary "Rape of Nanking" with its "300,000 dead" was fabricated atrocity propaganda designed to tarnish the image of peaceful Japan and incite the Chinese people to hatred before the Japanese could "win the hearts and minds" of their Chinese brothers -- as they were determined to do.* A pro-Japan government -- headed by Chinese -- was established in Nanking. It is historically known as the Wang Jing Wei Regime, after its leader.
* Japan --in the hopes of stopping a war which it was winning --tried on multiple occasions to have FDR intercede with his Chinese "ally" and make peace.* August, 1941: Japan blamed the international aggression and propaganda being aimed at her by the US, the UK and China on a "Jewish Plot" -- which, working through the Roosevelt administration, prodded and armed China to keep the war going until the USA could enter.* Roosevelt and his inner circle deliberately provoked Japan into justifiably attacking the Pacific Naval base at Pearl Harbor, in December of 1941.* After the war ended in 1945, the "loyal" Communist forces (armed by Stalin) again turned on Chiang -- ultimately toppling his government in 1949 and forcing him to escape to the island of Formosa (Taiwan). A genocide then occurred on the mainland...Sorry, China. But that's the truth about the war in Asia -- in a nutshell.
