The Scientific Method consists of OBSERVATION and EXPERIMENTATION. The responsible use of MATHEMATICS is applied to facilitate and enhance the process -- not to replace it. When these criteria are applied to the question of Geocentrism (not to be confused with Flat Earth) vs Heliocentrism, the Great & the Good of modern Cosmology and Astrophysics, at least among themselves, will often make some very interesting, even shocking admissions that us mere mortals seldom get to hear about.
